Download Google Chrome For Mac Version 10.5.8: What You Need to Know Before You Install

I have a 2008 Macbook Pro version 10.5.8 and I cant seem to download any browsers like google chrome for example. What is one update that I could use that would allow me to download more and do more things with my mac in general?

Sometime in 2012, Adobe Flash asked me to update it. I tried, but it didn't work because my browsers (firefox and chrome) didn't support the newest flash. I tried to update my browsers, but neither firefox nor chrome supports mac os 10.5.8 anymore. Safari keeps telling me to update flash too. I know that using an older version of flash can be a security hazard, so I really want to update.

Please notice that Flash Player 11 only supports 10.6 and newer. You can still download version 10.3 for 10.5 Intel (beware, Flash 10.3 is an archived version and is no longer supported nor updated with security fixes by Adobe).

I'm trying to help a family friend with an issue with their old mac. They can't view any videos or see anything on YouTube. When I go to YouTube on their mac, it says Safari is out of date. So I tried updating Safari and checked for other updates, but suspiciously it says everything is up to date. I also tried downloading a version of Chrome and Firefox that would work with their old Mac, but after downloading it also suspiciously said that neither were compatible.
